IMPORTANT NEWS
It's with sadness that we inform you that the Potsdam Humane Society has decided not to renew our lease, and the Potsdam Community Dog Park will close at its current location on or before September 1st.
We are looking for a new home, so if you have any ideas, please email contact@potsdamdogpark.org
We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has ever donated or volunteered for the dog park. You have made many dogs (and people) very happy.
We hope to continue our mission at a new address soon.
If you want to support, please consider:
Joining our email list (scroll to the bottom of our homepage)
Making a donation (which will help us with relocation costs and continue with our mission of having a free, accessible dog park for our community)
Thank you for your support. We'll post an update here when we have more news to share!
Remember these most important rules:
Only socialized, healthy, spayed/neutered dogs—Large dogs 25+lbs in the main area, small dogs -25lbs in the small area—No more than 2 dogs per person—Clean up after your dog—No children under 12—No smoking of any kind, and no glass or food.
Enjoy the park at your risk from DAWN to DUSK and HAVE FUN!!!
Questions, comments, or want to volunteer? Contact us at contact@potsdamdogpark.org or visit us on Facebook! We look forward to hearing from you.
