Location & Hours

Location: The Potsdam Community Dog Park is located on Potsdam Humane Society land at 17 Madrid Ave., just a few steps behind the shelter. Enter to the right of the PHS Annex. The Park is within walking distance from downtown Potsdam, Clarkson University, and SUNY Potsdam. 

The two-acre fenced-in public park is a beautiful new green space that includes waste receptacles and bag dispensers throughout the park, benches, and separate fenced areas for large and small dogs.

Hours of Operation: The Potsdam Community Dog Park is open every day from dawn until dusk, unless closed for maintenance. Please respect plowing, mowing, garbage, and work crews and wait to enter until crew is finished.

There is no fee to use the park. However, donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly towards park improvements and on-going maintenance. Simply click on the DONATE button above to contribute!
